Maria Graduated from Dental Hygiene school in 1990 and has been a hygienist for over 30 years and loves what she does. Her patients are like family to her. She loves educating her patients to help them achieve healthy mouths.

Janica became a dental hygienist in 1996. She’s from Hayesville, NC. She strives to educate her patients not only to achieve a healthy, confident smile but to strive for overall sustainable health.

After 19 years of running her own laundry business in Clayton, GA, Donna joined our practice where she is enjoying the dental field.

Bri attended Highlands School from Kindergarten through to Senior year. She went on to attend Lanier Tech, where she received her dental assisting training. She joined the practice in 2021

Jacky is bilingual, with Spanish being her native language. She enjoys outdoor activities and volunteering. She went to Highlands school and has been in the area for over 18yrs.

Katie has been a dental assistant since graduating from Georgia school of dental assisting in 2014. Katie enjoys working in dentistry and loves helping patients achieve their dental goals.

Adilene has been a dental assistant for three years. She has been in the Highlands area for 23 years. Her goal is to become a dental hygienist.

Linda has four years of experience in the dental field. After 13 years in Alaska, She wanted to be closer to family so now she now calls NC her forever home.

Kim is a native of Highlands and a graduate of Highlands High School and Southwestern Community College. By the 7th grade, she knew that she had a heart for dentistry. She has worked in the practice since 1993. She enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.

Barbie

Barbie has been with Highlands Dental Care for 3 1/2 years as an appointment coordinator and performs various administrative duties. She has over 5 years of experience in the dental field and more than 25 years in the administrative field. Barbie is originally from Palm Beach County, Florida but has lived in Cashiers, North Carolina since 1994, where she married her husband Todd in 1995. She has four children, a son-in-law, and two granddaughters whom she enjoys spending time with. Barbie loves her WNC home and enjoys hiking and traveling with her family and friends.
